The hanging lamp Bo Baltus is a lighting with a refined design and its natural material will give a touch of authenticity to your decoration. To realize Bo Baltus, François Desplanches plaits wicker sprouts by hand, according to a traditional technic used in wicker making.
Wicker is a very strong material made with different varieties of willows. In France, five species are cultivated, giving a lot of varieties. Even if the use of many varieties allows to play with the colours, the cultivated ones are chosen depending of the climate, the place where they grow and their weaving qualities.
The hanging lamp Bo Baltus exists in two sizes and the smallest one in three different colours (white wicker, patinated white wicker and mocha colour).
François Desplanches only uses raw wickers soaked during a few days or several weeks. The delivering can take two or three months.
